The ski bag is either secured by belt to the seat belt buckle* or by hooks*.

Open the load-through hatch link.
Push the bag (with the zip pointing towards the rear of the vehicle) from the luggage compartment through the load-through hatch into the passenger compartment .

Insert the fastening belt -A- of the bag into the centre seat belt buckle -B- Fig. 86.
To prevent the luggage from sliding around in the bag, pull the fastening belt -C- on the bag to tighten.

Applies to: ski bag secured by hooks
Attach the hook on each of the two fastening belts -A- and -B- into the corresponding rear fastening ring Fig. 87.
To prevent the luggage from sliding around in the bag, pull the fastening belt on the bag to tighten.
WARNING
  • The bag must be strapped in place with the fastening belt after it has been loaded.
  • Make sure that all objects transported in the vehicle with the backrest folded down are secured. They can be catapulted through the passenger compartment in case of a sudden braking manoeuvre - risk of injury!
  • If you are transporting skis or snowboards, pull the fastening belt tight between the bindings.
  • Place skis in the bag with their tips facing forwards and ski poles with their tips facing backwards.

Fold up the bag only when it is dry.
