Lift the storage box lid out of the storage box and hold it in position -1- Fig. 44► ►.
With the storage box lid propped open, press the side part of the frame mechanism -2- past the point of resistance on both sides of the vehicle.
WARNING
  • Always ensure that the side parts of the soft top frame mechanism are locked when the storage box lid is open, even if the soft top is in an intermediate position. Otherwise the storage box lid could slam shut - risk of injury!
  • Avoid making contact with the frame mechanism or other moving parts when opening the storage box lid. Otherwise you could get your hands caught - risk of injury!
